The work changed when I became a mother.
Before that, I spent years as a hypnotherapist — sitting across from adults who were still being quietly run by their childhoods. Hobbled connections. Limited mindsets. Stunted growth. Session after session, the same pattern: the things that shaped us youngest shaped us most.
That work taught me something that child development research would later confirm — a child's wellbeing is inseparable from their mother's. Not in a guilt-laden way. In a biological, deeply practical way. Presence is what a developing mind needs most, and a mother who is stressed and stretched thin simply cannot give it.
So I needed to solve for that. Which took me back to something I already knew.
In my twenties, I worked in SEO. I watched the people above me take trips to Africa, linger over long lunches, and build a life entirely on their own terms. What I didn't realize then was that I was the one doing the work that made their results possible. Fully remote. No non-compete. No disclosure agreement.
I had the skill the whole time. So I built my own shop.
